Have a Wubly Evening

An old classic with a fresh twist. My night has started well. Enjoy yours.

Oh boy I can't wait.

The Avett Brothers are playing at The Paramount on July 18th. Never have I been more excited for a show. Literally there is no one else I would rather see at this point in time. Not even if Carpathian came from all the way from Australia, resurrected Michael Jackson and they did a cover of the cover of "Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm, originally by MJ himself. You follow? All of this mind you, in the Alaska Room. While eating pizza, surrounded by beautiful women. I'd still chose TAB.

Yes.

What do you think of this as a nice return to Seattle show? Try and guess which 2 we are going to see.

Let's Break It Down

This video recounts the history of the "Amen Break," a six-second drum sample from the b-side of a chart-topping single from 1969. This sample was used extensively in early hiphop and sample-based music. For example NWA's "Straight Outta Compton." Give this video a watch, it's worth it.

LEGEND: R.I.P Les Paul

You didn't know he was a real person, did you? All that you can think up is the Gibson "Les Paul" guitar? Well thats alright. This man single handedly changed music. He pioneered the solid body electric guitar and also invented multi-track recording. Oh yeah and he is a fucking phenomenal guitar player. He still played to this day. Pay your respects.

Legit:

Multi-tracking: 1953

MVP

Despised Icon posted a new song off their upcoming September release titled "Day of Mourning". To be clear, that is the title of the album, and the song is called "MVP". Check it out here. Let's just say I have new found faith in music. Because not since "The Ills Of Modern Man" have I been this stoked. Ta Yeule!

I didn't say it...Pt. 2 (Out done)

Remember this post? well let's just say they have outdone themselves this time. Pure perfection. True story too. I have the first shirt but if I ever want a decent girlfriend again who is not a DG than I may have to pass on this one.

P.S. Salt The Wound is a band, not a streetwear brand you stupid fucks. Know your shit.

R.I.P

Terrible day for music. Furious Styles broke up. Shit

This is bullshit

The top album art is by a band called The Ascendicate, their album comes out in February of this year. The bottom and far superior album below is the Furious Styles, which was release in February of 2007. Looks to me like FS got jacked so boo on The Ascendickheads for coming out with the same thing 2 years later...
