Fuck Chelsea Shite

Well, it is with great regret that I post the following limited Chelsea swag. It's actually a Kevin Garnett x Chelsea Football Club x adidas Basketball TS Commander LT collab. Boston based retailer Bodega will be offering these limited packs. This better be the last soccer scarf and jersey release that has to do with streetwear. You're stealing my thunder you motherfuckers!

James Bond (UNDFTD) for David Beckham Pt. II

Here is a flipped version of the famed ZX 8000 runners that rose to popularity in the 80's. It's designed by James Bond of Undefeated, which pretty much makes your and my shoes invalid from here on out. The shoe comes complete with a DB signature lace jewel, DB signature sock liner and soft leather lining. It's currently set to be a cornerstone in the Adidas Originals 2009 Fall/Winter season. I could see these being an awesome sunday evening shoe. Don't judge me for wanting to have a shoe for everyday of the week.. In other news my girlfriend texted me today saying David Beckham looked gross in a "banana hammock." I truly love that girl and thus feel better about my life and inability to destroy Spice Girl tang. And bend it.. like Beckham..
UPDATE: For winter...

ME LIKEY

More info coming soon on the Adidas skate line. These look sick though. Apparently they are set for a Jan 2010 release, at a reasonable $75. Hopefully if I like these enough they will replace my Vans authentics as a go to shoe. Because everyfuckingbody jumped on those. Wear your fucking Air Force 1's again you douches.

Heavy collab

This is an Adidas collab with LA's UNDFTD, NY's DQM, Canada's Goodfoot, and SF's Huf. Although I don't particularly enjoy Adidas, I do in fact dream about sex all day.. There are 4 other sneakers I believe coming out with this drop but I fucking hate them, and this is my site so I can be a biased fuck.

Adidas Week Feature: ZX Series

As the 'H' in this collaborative project, San Franciso's HUF pay tribute to their city's railroad history with a canvas upper that homages the hickory striped uniform of the railway worker. Far from workmanlike, this intelligent conceptual approach goes the distance in terms of detail, from the brass eyelets, branded ghilly lacing system and tipped laces, to the all-over lettering on the tongue, completed by a gum outsole. A bold move that pays dividends, the shoe is packaged with a matching striped drawstring bag embellished by six brass badges, making for another classic from a store that truly overstands the collaborative shoe process.

Dave’s Quality Meats’ ‘Q’ choice to pick the slimline ZX 90 design means a shoe that’s perfect for everyday wear, and well suited to cycling via some stylish applications and utilitarian additions to this contemporary Torsion runner. Reflective mesh and paneling means extra visibility, while the mix of sky blue, bright red, light green and black is a unique but aesthetically pleasing one, with a matching lace for each colour. These New Yorkers are professionals when it comes to collaborative footwear, and from the choice-of-model to the minimal branding, thinking differently again for this opportunity has made for another classic.
Adidas Week Feature: ZX Series

Undefeated’s trademark mix of performance and cutting edge design is at work on their ‘U’ interpretation of the ZX 8000. Taking the Torsion runner and giving it a clean, contemporary look, by starkly contrasting two key shades – bright orange and dazzling rave green on the footbed and Torsion bar itself, the mix of materials, - meshes and suede, completed with nylon stripes makes winning strides towards authenticity and innovation. Minimal branding, beyond the distinctive bars on the tongue indicates a retailer quietly confident of their winning form, and finished with a collection of laces for three very different looks, they remain unbeaten.

Adidas Week Feature: ZX Series

A running classic with added Boston attitude, Bodega take 'B' to celebrate the adidas brand's regional history and dominance by reworking the ZX 8000. Blending subtle colours with bolder shades and adding effective use of texture, army green ripstop style fabric merges with bright red suede and black textured premium leather, work alongside soft nubuck, set atop an off-white midsole Carrying the store's passion for the shoe down to the minute details, the reflective tab on the heel, subtle use of local hand signals depicted on the tongue and metal tipped laces means a makeover with across-the-board appeal far beyond the regional inspiration.
