A detailed look..

Here are the Nike AM 90 "Day Of The Dead". As you can tell they show similar aesthetic to the "Day Of The Dead" Dunk Hi & Lo's. Most importantly the sneaker has certain graphics that only get revealed in the dark. Happy trails!

Ben Drury is back..

British Rap star Dizzee Rascall has teamed up with fellow Brit, designer Ben Drury on a new Nike Air Max 90 with Dizzee’s upcoming LP ‘Tongue in Cheek’. More importantly it's the return of Ben. Drury has again utilised the power of 3M (as per his AM1 three years ago), this time it appears on both the heels with Dizzee’s figure embossed on them, and on the laces too. The truly killer touch is the translucent Swoosh. The Max 90 will drop in limited numbers at 1948 on Saturday 18th September.

Nike really out did themselves this time. I wanted to die after I couldn't get the Kevin Lyons currents, now these? But not only will I not get them, thousands of people won't. They are to be released at two stores worldwide. Nike stores in NY and LA. KAWS continues to prove he is the best artist of current times. And this is just another monument in his career. RESPECT.

Relief washes over me as does disgust. As much as I want another pair of og Infrared 90's I was sure the 2008 release would flood the market with them again; making the HOA 90's obsolete. However with this slight update including but not limited to the oesterich black panels proves a worthy release keeping the classic intact.

Kevin Lyons

If you don't own this book, I recommend you struggle to find a copy. Kevin's work is like none other. His art and style are something I can really relate to. The real reason I bring this up is for the August release of Kevin's Air Max 90 Current. Arguably his most anticipated release yet.

The Future of The Air Max 90 Infrared

I'll take a size 12.. Since the inception of the famed 90, it's safe to say Nike has made boundless advancements to their idea of innovative footwear. This updated platform is a far cry from the original, but a showcase of the changing times. With that in mind I'm getting mine. Hope your Monday is going well.
